5. Residential Real Estate Company (RREC)

RREC commissioned the services of Abilita to perform a communications review of its 12 corporate locations in a metropolitan area. The review included elements of people, process and technology as follows:

1. phone systems and services inventory
2. phone systems and services optimization
3. Wide Area Network review
4. IT infrastructure review (hardware and application software)
5. Answering Service and Reception desk process review
6. Security review
7. Disaster Recovery assessment

As a result of the review, cost reductions in existing services were realized and a redesign of RREC’s communication infrastructure was proposed, accepted by RREC and project managed by Abilita. The redesign included:

1. centralizing IT applications at a carrier grade co-location centre
2. centralizing after hours answering services
3. centralizing the appointment desk with a call centre implementation
4. implementing a VoIP PBX platform

The redesign provided RREC with:

1. a single point of administration for its IT and voice infrastructure
2. carrier grade security and redundancy for its IT infrastructure
3. streamlined processes for answering service, reception and appointment desk
4. Security and Virus protection across the network
5. Outsourced IT maintenance for onsite issues for all branches
6. Disaster Recovery solutions
7. Hoteling for real estate agents
8. Remote and Call Center users can seamlessly be an extension off the phone VoIP system
9. Shared reception amongst the different locations. Calls are routed to other receptions for load balancing back to testimonials
